Savings Gangster

If you have read my blog, you will know that I am a cheapskate. I seriously hate paying full price for anything. I'm not an extreme coupon-er but I do know how to find great deals, and it's a skill I think every Mom needs. Having a crotch fruit, or multiple crotch fruits is expensive as hell. Plus feeding and taking care of yourselves, the cost stacks up. Here are a few resources I use to save us significant amounts of money or how to get free shit! (Because I'm pretty sure everything is better when it's free).

I've already discussed Amazon MOM- or Amazon Prime. You can look at how to save HERE.

Ibotta is a mobile app (Available on Itunes and Google Play) where you can get rebates for things you buy at the store. They have all the major stores in my area on there. (Kroger, Wal-Mart, Target) They have different categories of rebates such as Apparel, Beauty, Baby, Grocery, and more.

Products with Rebates from Walmart
You start by selecting a category. I usually start in Grocery or Baby. They have popular products in those categories. You select the product, answers a "Yes or No" question, and then the rebate is yours. I have had rebates from .25 cents all the way up to three dollars. You can choose rebates from specific brands, or sometimes you can get a rebate just for buying any bag of chips. After claiming the rebates, then it's time to go to the store. You have 24 hours to get the items that you got rebates for. All you have to do is take a photo of the receipt and boom! You get that money or you can put it onto a gift
card! I have mine put into a Paypal.

  Target Cartwheel
If there is anyone out there more addicted to Target than I am, well I would love to meet you. Target is like heaven to me. The Cartwheel app is an exclusive coupon app for Target. They have all sorts of deals, like 25% off patio furniture, or buy one- get one 50 % off apparel. They also have deals both on the app and in store where you get a gift card for purchasing certain items. Like when I purchased laundry a few weeks ago, I got a $25 dollar gift card. Believe it or not those little gift cards add up. With the Cart Wheel app I've saved over $179 just in the last 2 months.
Another great way to save too is to check out the clearance sections in the store. They are hidden so you really need to walk the whole store. All the places that are hidden! I find amazing stuff on clearance. Look for those red clearance stickers.

A final way to save at Target is Sign up for the Red Card. They have a Debit, and Credit Card options, either way you save 5% on every transaction. It is amazing! So if you combine that with the Cart Wheel app, use clearance, and the red card you will save a ton!

Retail Me Not is amazing for so many reasons. You can type in any store, or restaurant and there will most likely be a coupon! There are over 500,000 coupons for 50,000 places! There is even an app for savings on the go! They even do posts about free things.

I really hate clipping coupons, I do. That doesn't mean I don't do it though. Clipping manufacturer Coupons does take time, but the savings really are worth it. Also, if your local grocery store has a loyalty card program, check to see if they now do digital coupons, I shop with King Soopers, which is a branch of the Kroger chain. They offer digital coupons that load straight to the savings card. I often save a ton of money doing that!

Huggies/Pampers Rewards
Whenever you buy a product made by Huggies, or Pampers, they come with a code. You can enter these codes online for savings, or to get other products. Check out the Huggies, and Pampers websites for more details.

One final way that I save money and get coupons, is through a website called Everyday Family. They have great opportunities, coupons, and sweepstakes.

If you do more things to save extra money, please let me know! I would love to include them in this post!

None of these Apps and Services paid me to write about them, but I wish they would. Seriously Amazon... Do it...... DDDDDOOOOO IT.
